Lower Energy Bills: New insulation standards and efficient burners mean you spend significantly less money to keep your water hot.

A Clean, Code-Compliant Swap

We respect your home and business. We drain the old tank safely, install the new one to code, and leave the area cleaner than we found it.

Drain & Remove

We shut off the utilities, drain the old unit via a hose to a safe location, and remove it without damaging your floors or walls.

Install & Connect

We set the new unit in the pan, make water and gas connections using new fittings, and ensure the flue vent is sealed tight.

Fill & Test

We fill the tank, bleed the air from the lines to prevent "water hammer," and test the temperature to ensure it delivers hot water safely.

Water Heater Installation Questions

What you need to know before buying a new water heater.

  • How long does it take to install a water heater?

A standard replacement takes about 2 to 4 hours. We can usually complete the job the same day you call so you aren't left without hot water overnight.

  • What size water heater do I need for a family of 4?

Typically, a 50-gallon electric tank or a 40-gallon gas tank is sufficient. If you have a soaking tub or take back-to-back showers, we might recommend a 50-gallon high-recovery unit.

  • How much does a commercial water heater replacement cost?

Commercial units are more expensive due to their heavy-duty build and warranty. We provide free on-site estimates for businesses to determine the exact requirements.

  • Should I switch from gas to electric?

Usually, it is best to stick with what you have to avoid expensive electrical or plumbing upgrades. However, if you have solar panels, switching to a Hybrid Electric Heat Pump water heater can save you money.
